Supporting you in your healing journey

I provide professional Counselling and Addiction Therapy for Young People and Adults

Hi, I’m Sarah.

I am a fully qualified counsellor, specialising in addiction therapy.

I have a Post-Graduate Diploma in Addiction Psychology and Counselling.

I am fully insured and I attend regular clinical supervision and CPD to ensure I am working safely and up-to-date.

I work in a pluralistic way – meaning I do not believe in a ‘one size fits all’ approach. I will adjust my approach to you.

I currently offer remote sessions via Google Meet, and in-person sessions in Rugby. In exceptional circumstances, where video calling or in-person sessions create a barrier to treatment, I can also offer telephone counselling.

  • Counselling

Weekly sessions take place in a safe, empathic and confidential space where we will explore and resolve your concerns.

I offer you open-ended counselling to enable you to engage with the process at a pace that allows both exploration and resolution.

I will guide you and take you through this process of achieving your counselling goals.

  • Addiction Therapy

I provide you with a non-judgemental, empathic and shame-free space for you to explore the why behind the addiction or problematic substance use.

I work with many types of addiction including substances, gambling, binge-eating and sex.

I offer addiction therapy on an open-ended basis to assist you no matter which stage you are at in your journey.

Using a range of therapeutic techniques, we will set goals and work together at a pace that suits your needs. I will guide you through this therapeutic process to enable you to maintain your reduction or abstinence, depending on which you have chosen to work towards.

I will assist you with harm reduction and relapse prevention strategies throughout the process. This will ensure your safety while we work together. And your success following therapy.

  • Addiction Information Sessions

These sessions are aimed toward those affected by someone else’s addiction. You might have a friend or a family member causing you concern and you’re wondering how you can best support them.

I offer informational sessions for you to find out more about addiction and to talk about how it is affecting you. You are welcome to bring your concerns and questions to these sessions.

I offer a free 20 minute phone consultation during which we can get to know each other and you can ask any questions you may have.

Standard sessions are £65* per 60 minute session

Extended sessions are £95* per 90 minute session

Standard sessions are offered on a weekly basis to provide you with consistency in the therapeutic process. Extended sessions can be booked in advance on an ad-hoc basis when it feels that extra time is required.
